Experience The Gardens full of fun and Natural Beauty

The Gardens at Ysgubor Degwm offer a unique holiday experience with space for relaxation and fun. Enjoy the mature borders, tranquil orchards, raised beds of lavender and herbs, and wildflowers for natural beauty. The large lawns offer plenty of space to enjoy traditional lawn games, and you can even find a tree swing on the North lawn under the old Welsh Oak Tree. Enjoy barbecues and wood-fired pizza for some alfresco dining fun, or dip in the heated indoor swimming pool in the glass house with garden views. Play a game of table tennis, or head out to the tennis court for a game on the all-season hard court.

BIKES

We have a small selection of push bikes you are welcome to borrow during your stay. Bike helmets are also available.

SWIMMING POOL

Indoor heated swimming pool in the garden. The pool is exclusively used by our guests.

TENNIS

The tennis court is located in the lower garden and includes a basketball hoop. We also have Table Tennis and Lawn Games.

PIZZA OVEN & BBQ

The woodfired pizza oven in the garden is as fun as the food it produces is delicious. Logs are provided for cooking.

The outdoor table tennis table can be set up on the lawn to enjoy a friendly game of Ping Pong.  Bats abd balls included.

THE POOL

Our heated indoor swimming pool is housed in a beautiful glass house with stunning views of the gardens. You can enjoy the pool in all weather.

For your entertainment, there are inflatables and pool toys to enjoy, and the pool itself is 9 x 4.5 meters and 1.2 meters deep.

 

There is also plenty of poolside seating, Bluetooth speakers and lights for night swimming. And if that wasn't enough, the WiFi connection even reaches the pool, so you can stream your favourite music as you swim.

PIZZA OVEN & BBQ

Ysgubor Degwm is a traditional wood-fired pizza oven (white oven style) for delicious pizzas. If you feel adventurous, why not cook your meals in the White Oven? Our recipe for Paprika-crusted Cod with Sauté Potatoes, Red Peppers, Kale and Alioli makes a perfect summer lunch. There is a large five-burner gas BBQ for easy outdoor cookouts with full control for the perfect flame.

 

For alfresco dining, there are three tables to capture to dine in the sunshine or the shade. The main dining table is on the south patio under a pergola and has ten seats. There is a smaller wooden round table and chairs in the orchard, where natural shade makes for a perfect lunch spot. The third table is on the north lawn, perfect for catching the last Sun of the evening.

TENNIS & BASKETBALL

Ysgubor Degwm offers a hard-surface tennis court for your enjoyment. Perfect for a doubles game, we can provide you with rackets and balls. There is also a basketball hoop at the end of the court for our more competitive guests.

TABLE TENNIS &
Lawn Games

We have garden table tennis complete with bats and balls for those who prefer table tennis. We also have a selection of lawn games, including croquet, badminton and boules.

We promise you one of the area's most comfortable and luxurious stays.
